Terms of use
Last updated: 28 September 2026
Summary
- PokerClub is for adults 18 and over.
- Chips are virtual. They have no cash value and can never be bought for money, sold, cashed out or swapped for anything of value.
- Clubs are run by their owners, not by us. Settling chips for real money, anywhere, gets clubs and accounts closed.
- Free Play tables may include automated players.
- Other players at your table can see stats about how you play.
This summary is only a guide. It does not replace the full terms below, which are what apply.
1. About these terms
These terms are the agreement between you and the operator of PokerClub (privateplay.net and poker.privateplay.net, called "PokerClub", "we" or "us"). They apply whenever you sign in, join a club, sit at a table or use any other part of the service. By signing in you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use PokerClub.
Club owners may add their own house rules for their club. Those rules sit on top of these terms and cannot override them.
2. Who can play
Age. You must be at least 18 years old to use PokerClub. By signing in you confirm that you are 18 or older. If we believe an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close it.
Where you live. Rules about online card games differ from place to place. You are responsible for checking that using PokerClub is lawful where you are, and you must not use it where it is not.
3. A social game, not gambling
PokerClub is a social poker platform for entertainment. Nothing you do here involves real money: you cannot stake money, win money or win prizes. We do not offer gambling, and the service must not be used for it.
4. Your account
- You sign in with Telegram, Google or Microsoft. Keep those accounts secure: they are the key to your PokerClub account.
- One person, one account. Do not create extra accounts, share your account, or let anyone else play on it.
- Your account is personal. You cannot sell, lend or transfer it.
- Tell us through Help & support if you think someone else has used your account.
5. Names, photos and chat
- Your display name, profile photo and chat messages are seen by other players. Keep them decent: nothing offensive, hateful, sexual, threatening or illegal, and no advertising.
- Do not pretend to be another person, a club owner, or PokerClub staff.
- Administrators may rename an account, remove a photo, delete messages or limit chat when these rules are not followed.
- You keep ownership of what you post. You allow us to store, display and process it (including screenshots you attach to support requests) as needed to run, moderate and improve PokerClub.
6. Clubs
- Clubs are private. You can only play in clubs that have accepted you.
- Each club is run by its owner, who may appoint managers and agents. They decide who joins, which tables and tournaments run, and how chips are handed out inside the club.
- Club owners, managers and agents must follow these terms and make sure their club is used lawfully. They are not our employees or representatives.
- Any arrangement between club members is between them. We are not a party to it and are not responsible for it.
- Real-money settlement is strictly forbidden. No one may pay, collect or settle chips, results or balances for money or anything of value, inside the app or outside it (cash, bank transfer, e-wallets, crypto, gift cards or goods). We may close any club, and any account, that takes part in or organises this.
- We may suspend or close a club that breaks these terms, without warning when that is needed to protect players or the service.
7. Virtual chips
- Chips are game points. They have no cash value and are not money, property or a means of payment.
- You get a limited, personal permission to use chips inside PokerClub. You do not own them.
- Chips can never be cashed out, sold, bought for money, or exchanged for money, goods, services or prizes, on PokerClub or anywhere else.
- Club chips are issued and managed by the club owner and stay in that club. Free Play chips stay in Free Play.
- We may reset, adjust or remove chips, for example to fix an error, to undo the effect of cheating, or when a club or account is closed. Because chips have no value, no refund or compensation is owed when this happens.
8. Free Play and automated players
Free Play is open to every signed-in player. You receive 2,500 free chips on your first visit, and your wallet is topped up automatically when it runs low. These amounts may change.
Free Play tables may include automated players (bots) run by PokerClub, so that games can start without waiting. We do not place automated players at private club tables.
9. Fair play
Play your own hand, with your own head. You must not:
- collude with other players, share hole cards, or soft-play a friend;
- deliberately lose chips to another player (chip dumping);
- use more than one account, or play for someone else;
- use bots, scripts, macros or other automation to play for you;
- use solvers, real-time assistance or any other help tool while you are at a table;
- exploit bugs or errors instead of reporting them;
- interfere with the service, test its security without permission, or scrape it;
- harass, threaten or abuse other players or staff.
You may play up to 4 tables at the same time.
10. How we keep games fair
- We keep hand histories and security records (such as sign-in IP addresses and devices) and review them to find collusion, multi-accounting and other abuse.
- Every deck is shuffled from a random seed, and a commitment to it is published before the hand, so a finished hand can be checked to confirm the cards were not changed.
11. What other players can see
- Players at your table can see statistics about how you play (a HUD). They are built only from actions everyone at the table could see, never from your unshown cards.
- Players dealt into a hand can replay it later. A replay shows the viewer's own cards and whatever was shown at the table, never anyone else's unshown cards.
- Club owners and managers can see activity and chip movements in their own club.
12. Disconnections and errors
If you lose your connection, the game carries on and your hand follows the table's time rules, which normally means you check or fold when your time runs out. We are not responsible for chips lost because of your device or internet connection. If a fault on our side spoils a hand, we may cancel it and return chips to where they were before it started.
13. When rules are broken
We may investigate any account or club we suspect of breaking these terms. Depending on what we find, we may warn, limit features, suspend or close accounts and clubs, and remove or reset chips won or moved unfairly. Where we can, we will tell you what happened and let you respond through Help & support, but we may act first when players or the service need protecting.
14. Optional paid features
Some optional features (for example, extended HUD plans) may cost money in the future. If so, the price and any extra terms will be shown before you pay, and those extra terms will apply to that feature. Paying for a feature never buys chips, never gives chips any value, and never turns a game into gambling.
15. Our software and content
PokerClub's software, design, name, logo and content belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable permission to use the service to play and to run clubs under these terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or build on it, except where the law allows.

16. Privacy
Our privacy policy explains what we collect, why, and how long we keep it. Hand histories, chat and other records are kept for a limited time and then deleted under our data retention settings.
17. The service as it is
We work to keep PokerClub running well, but we provide it "as is" and "as available". We may change, pause or stop features, games, clubs or the whole service, and we do not promise that it will always be available, error-free or suited to a particular purpose.
18. Limits on our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost chips (which have no value), or for what club owners or other players do. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer law that cannot legally be excluded, or limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
19. Claims caused by you
If you break these terms or the law while using PokerClub, including by running or joining real-money settlement, and someone makes a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with that claim.
20. Closing your account
You can stop using PokerClub at any time. You can also delete your account yourself: open your profile and choose Delete account. Deleting is permanent and cannot be undone. Before you can delete, you need to leave any table you are seated at, finish or unregister from any tournament, and remove the other members of any club you own.
When you delete your account, we remove your display name and avatar, your club memberships and the Telegram, Google and Microsoft sign-ins linked to it, and we end every session on every device. All your chips and balances are forfeited. Because a Telegram, Google or Microsoft sign-in is no longer tied to the old account, you can later use it to start a new account, which begins from scratch. Hands you took part in stay in the history of the other players at the table, with your name replaced by “Deleted player”, so their records stay complete.
We may close an account or club under section 13, or if we stop offering the service. When an account or club is closed, its chips are removed. Records we must keep for security or legal reasons are handled as the privacy policy describes.
21. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as PokerClub changes. We will change the date at the top, and for important changes we will give notice in the app before they take effect. If you keep using PokerClub after that, the new terms apply.
22. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. The courts of New South Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them or about PokerClub. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
PokerClub is offered to players in many countries, for entertainment only, using virtual chips that have no monetary value. You are responsible for following the laws of the place where you live and play, and you must not use PokerClub anywhere it is not allowed.
23. Contact
Questions, reports and requests go through Account › Help & support in the app, where our replies also appear. You can also reach us through the PokerClub Telegram bot you use to sign in.
