Free poker online, with virtual chips
Free Play is PokerClub's open lobby: poker tables anyone can join, any time, without a club or an invitation. It is free, it runs in your browser, and the chips are virtual.
The numbers
- 2,500 chips to start. Your Free Play wallet is credited the first time you sign in.
- Topped up whenever you run low. When your Free Play wallet drops below 1,000 chips and you are not seated at a Free Play table, it is automatically topped up to 1,000. Nothing to tap, and no waiting: bust out and you can sit straight back down.
- Buy-ins from 20 to 100 big blinds. Tables come in three blind levels, 10/20, 20/40 and 50/100, so a 2,500 wallet can always find a seat.
- Hold'em and Omaha. Each level runs as No-Limit Texas Hold'em and as Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO), so you can learn both games with free chips. New to Omaha? Start with PLO for beginners.
- Pineapple OFC. Two Open-Face Chinese tables, Jade at 5 chips a point and Coral at 20 chips a point, seat three with bots filling the empty chairs. New to OFC? Read how to play Pineapple OFC.
- Six seats per table. Short-handed tables mean more hands and more decisions per hour, which is exactly what you want when you are learning.
- Always open. Pick a blind level and PokerClub finds you a seat at a running table.
You never pay anything for chips, and you cannot: there is nothing to buy. Free Play chips have no cash value, cannot be cashed out, and cannot be moved into a private club.
Automated players at Free Play tables
So that a game is always running, even at 4 a.m., Free Play tables may include automated players. They play by the same rules, receive their cards from the same verifiable shuffle, and cannot see anyone's hole cards. We tell you this up front because honesty about who is at the table matters.
Tables inside a private club are different: they seat only the club's approved members.
What Free Play is good for
- Learning the game. New to poker? Read how to play, then practise the betting rounds and hand rankings with nothing at stake.
- Trying a new format. Test starting hands and bet sizing before you bring them to your club's game.
- Warming up. Play a few orbits before your friends log on for the real game night.
- Getting used to the app. Learn the buttons, the bet slider, table chat and multi-tabling (up to four tables at once) without holding up your friends.
Free Play and private clubs
Free Play and clubs use the same account but separate chips. Free Play chips stay in Free Play. Chips inside a private club are managed by that club's owner, who grants them to members. If you want a game with only your friends, create a private club; it is free as well.
Is free poker gambling?
No. PokerClub uses virtual chips only. They have no cash value and can never be cashed out, sold, or exchanged for money, goods or prizes, and nobody can buy them. You play for the game and for the bragging rights. PokerClub is for adults 18 and over.
Sign in with Telegram and your 2,500 free chips are waiting.
